One of the best ways to visit Toledo if you come from Madrid is to travel from Atocha-Madrid station to Toledo by the high speed train line AVE Madrid-Toledo that can be purchased on the official website of RENFE with a price from 12€ each way, you can get a discount if you choose the round trip ticket.
It is a trip in a modern train of less than 30 minutes, very comfortable that connects the capital with the imperial city of Toledo.
USE THE BUS
Also from Madrid you can take the regular bus that leaves from the interchange of Plaza Elíptica. The journey time is 50 minutes and tickets can be purchased on the ALSA website or at the ticket office of the interchange at a price of €5.58 each way. As in the case of the train, there is the possibility of a discount when taking the round-trip ticket.
